Sorcha is an Irish student currently studying fashion styling & visual merchandising at the Domus Academy in Milan, Italy. She loves life in Milan where she takes weekly Italian classes and enjoys hitting the streets with her film camera to shoot photos of her fashionista friends in and around the city.
For this Italian Streetstyle feature, Sorcha travelled to Lake Como for the day to photograph Carla Sobrini, a fashion & textile designer from Argentina. She also visited the trendiest spots of Milan to shoot friends Marta Kunst, a Spanish fashion designer and Euphemia Shi, a fellow fashion student at Domus Academy from Beijing.
A SUNDAY in Lake Como with Carla Sobrini
Lake Como is an hour outside Milan and a cheap €5 train ride. And, when in Milan, it would be rude not to go! Set against the foothills of the Alps, Lago di Como boasts the most beautiful villas along the water's edge (some rumoured to belong to George Clooney, Richard Branson & Sylvester Stallone). The city of Como has amazing architecture including a Gothic Church in the main square dating back to 1396.
